Dalit Foundation, a non-government organisation, is the first grant-making institution in South Asia working for the empowerment of Dalit communities. The Foundation supports individuals, community-based organisations, and networks that work to secure social change and protect the rights of Dalit. Dalit Foundation provides small grants and fellowships towards strengthening the Dalit Movement and nurturing future leaders for the movement.
Roles and responsibilities
Manage projects at strategic and operational level in 3 states (Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala) directly as well as with partner organizations
Work with key leaders of organizations to set strategic, thematic and budgetary plans driven by agency’s strategic plan
Impact evaluation study to ensure competence of organization to identify efficient partner matching agency’s strategies
Coordinate partner organizations to monitor human rights violations in Tamil Nadu
Network and liaison between individual organizations and movements
I conducted 89 impact evaluation studies in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karla, Gujarat, Utter Pradesh and Bihar. Helped 25 organizations in OD
Made scoops on Dalit rights and released in website, it was watched by 7000 people around the world.
